Meet Our Team

Dr Hla Thu is a caring and experienced General Practitioner who enjoys providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to patients across all stages of life. She is committed to understanding each patient’s individual health needs and supporting their long-term health and wellbeing.

Dr Thu completed her medical degree in Myanmar before commencing her medical career in Australia. She worked as a Medical Officer in New South Wales before undertaking General Practice training in 2021. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023 and continued practising in New South Wales before relocating to Perth in April 2026.

Dr Thu enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in chronic disease management, mental health and minor skin procedures. She has also completed a Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Surgery Principles, complementing her interest in skin health and minor procedures.

Outside of medicine, Dr Thu enjoys acrylic painting, learning classical guitar and travelling.
